Book Review: Red Queen

Mare Barrow is a boss! At the same time, she needs to open her eyes a bit more to the world around her and maybe not make such rash judgments or decisions. She loves hard and she’s fierce!
Not gonna lie. I feel so betrayed by Maven! I didn’t want to believe it. That one hurt. At the same time, I don’t entirely believe his act. Parts of it, yes, but I believe there’s more to the story and I’m determined to find it out. (That’s all I’m going to say about that)
Cal…I’m not so sure yet, but he seems pretty uptight. The throne and the kingdom aren’t everything and major change needs to happen. I hope he chooses to be on the right side of history. He cares for Mare WAY more than he’s letting on.
This world is something else and the powers people are born with are dope. I’m interested to see how more of the characters interact with one another. I wonder who will get together and who won’t. I can’t wait to see what happens with different groups of people. I need to see this revolution happen and how it plays out!
I would love to see how powerful Mare really is and what happens to her friends and family. To their world and if this revolution will continue to rise.
Victoria Aveyard, you did your thing and you know it!
