Book Review: A Court of Thorns and Roses

This book wretched me in the best possible way.

Feyre is a BOSS and I love her! I don’t want to, but I adore Rhysand. There’s something about him that’s intriguing and I don’t know what it is.

Tamlin…he’s hiding something and I want to know what it is. I hope he doesn’t turn into someone who I’ll strongly dislike. Same thing with Rhys. I hope he isn’t a buttface as he comes across. There’s something about him that I like. Lucien! He’s a sassy man with a heart of gold under that tough exterior. I feel it….but I also can be wrong. I hope I’m not wrong hahaha.

I hated Nesta at the beginning of the book but learning more of her thoughts and feelings, I get it. She got a fire that I can’t wait to see what happens. She has a loving heart, it just needs to be seen. She still shouldn’t have treated Feyre the way she did. Elain is a precious cinnamon roll and she needs to be protected!! At the same time, she needs to open her eyes and grow up a bit.

I’ve cried multiple times while reading this book. Sarah J. Maas is a master with a pen and the ability to create this world the way she did.

The storyline. The way we meet these characters. The personality of the characters. The action and fighting. The secrets slowly being unraveled.

Sarah J. Maas, you have my heart girl!

I’m so excited for the rest of the series and to see what happens.

5 out of 5 stars

P.S. I’ve bought the next book in the series and I’m so excited (and nervous) to read what happens next! 🙂
